
Daniel Yap, an experienced advertising and marketing professional with close to 30 years experience under his belt, Daniel has led key accounts in various industries, from finance to FMCG products as well as automotive to “dark markets”.
His work in “dark markets” came from working with brands in highly regulated industries such as tobacco and alcohol, to find creative ways to reach their audience by while operating within existing restrictions.
Having been put in charge of the Toyota and Honda accounts in Malaysia, Daniel has deep knowledge developing advertising plans for the automotive industry. He also understands how things work on the other side, having but dabbled as a freelance motoring journalist.
He has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, having founded several successful ventures including the Mont’Kiara International School and the Singapore Precious Metals Exchange.
